Lenny, The smartest kid At Wilson Middle School is constantly picked on by Steve, the biggest bully. What happens when the two get on the wrong bus and end up at a new school? They face bullying from the biggest threat of all; "sweet", commanding Meg. Unlikely friendships form and all three come to terms with what it means to be a bully.

An entertaining plot, energetic score and positive message told through story and character makes THE BULLY a play that young audiences can relate to without the feeling of being taught a lesson.

THE BULLY was originally commissioned by Vital Theatre Company, NY, in 2005 with direction by Suzu McConnel-Wood. In 2008 it was presented under the direction of Troy Miller and was remounted in 2012 with direction by Linda Ames Key. The first regional production was presented at Ivoryton Playhouse under the direction of Dan Nischan.
